This book offers an historical account of the Congregation in Annecy (Sisters of St. Joseph), from its founding by Jean Pierre Medaille in 1646 known as the ‘Little Design’, through the French Revolution, and the Congregation’s expansion to other parts of France. ‘His Mercy is From Age to Age’ also details the expansion of the Sisters of St. Joseph mission to India, England, Switzerland, Algeria and Senegal.
The publication of this volume marks the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Congregation in Annecy 1983.
